GeniVerse is an EU-funded Horizon Europe Innovation Action under the call HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-HUMAN-15. The project is developing a next-generation platform that combines Generative AI, eXtended Reality, and edge-based frugal AI to create inclusive, secure, and human-centric Virtual Worlds.
GeniVerse aims to improve how people interact, learn, collaborate, and connect within Web 4.0 environments, with applications in education, industry, and society. Inclusivity, ethics, accessibility, and personalisation are embedded into the platform’s design, with particular attention to underserved and vulnerable communities.
Smart assistants and virtual agents will provide personalised guidance, translation, and sentiment-aware support for users with diverse abilities and cultural backgrounds. The technologies will be developed and validated through real-world pilots across multiple application domains.
