About us.

Our story and foundation.

A foundation built on partnership

InSPIRE Research Center (Interdisciplinary Science Promotion & Innovative Research Exploration) was founded in 2016 by a forward-thinking group of academics alongside dedicated industry associates. From day one, our mission was clear: to break down traditional silos and establish a thriving culture of strategic partnerships between academia and the wider world. We recognized early on that generating meaningful, responsible impact required more than isolated academic study, it required bringing distinguished researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and citizens to the same table.

Evolving the Co-Innovation Methodology

Over the years, our hands-on experience facilitating cutting-edge research naturally evolved into the core philosophy that defines InSPIRE today. By cultivating trust-based, long-term relationships, we discovered that true advancement is not a straight line, but an endless cycle.

We Co-Design: By working directly with stakeholders from the start, we ensure our research targets real-world challenges.

We Co-Develop: We merge academic rigor with industry and community insights to build solutions, simultaneously enriching the student learning experience through hands-on collaborative projects and mentorship.

We Co-Innovate: We transform knowledge into tangible actions and solutions through industry application, community outreach, professional training, and policy insights for public authorities.

A foundation built on partnership

Today, InSPIRE members are internationally recognized for their commitment to this collaborative model. Our enduring partnerships have led to a rich track record of successfully securing and delivering highly competitive, externally funded projects. Building upon past successes, we are currently driving high-impact research and innocation activities with private, national or international funding, such as through Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, and Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation projects.

For us, a successful project is never just an endpoint; it is the spark for the next cycle of co-innovation.
